Sizinzo Kama represented EP in the SA Marathon Champs in George on 05 Feb 2012. He finished in an unofficial time of 3:11:30 and in silver position as he was 2nd in his age category. He sounded very happy with his result but complained that his legs started cramping in the final stages of the race. Well done Sizinzo!!! Thanks to all the Achilleans who were out there on the day to ensure that the event was the sucess it was. Brian Bands Participation Awards Evening - 26 January 2012 Well done to the Top 30 in the Brian Bands Participation League 2011. All 30 received Brian Bands Vouchers jointly sponsored by Brian Bands and Achilles. Achilles AAA to move to Walmer Golf Club from Tuesday, 17 January 2012 An important notice to all Achillians and Friends. As a result of the majority vote in favour at the SGM in December last year, Achilles AAA will move from Old Grey to Walmer Golf Club as from Tuesday, 17 January 2012. Club Runs will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays and we will, as usual, gather at 5.30pm for announcements. Please make use of the wonderful shower and bar facilities after the Training Runs. The Tuesday Training Run will be the usual "Pirates" route in the conventional direction and the Thursday night routes will vary as per a roster which will be available soon.
